  • Pre-Consultation: Encourage you to schedule a consultation to discuss your expectations, preferences, and any concerns.

Aftercare

Keep the treated area clean, avoid touching or scratching the treated area to prevent infection and ensure proper healing. Maintain good hydration levels by drinking enough water, as hydrated skin tends to heal better. It's normal for the color to initially appear darker before fading to the desired shade, avoid panicking and allow the natural healing process to take place. Understand that the healing process varies for each individual, be patient and allow ample time for the color to settle.

  • Day 1 (Procedure day): You may notice reddish, tender and slightly swollen. Please be aware that the final color will appear 20-40% lighter than it looks immediately after the procedure.

    • Clean: Gently clean the treated area every hour with a damp cotton pad until bedtime.

    • Apply: Apply a thin layer of aftercare gel after each cleaning to prevent thick scabbing, which can lift pigment and affect the final color.

  • Day 2 - 4: The eyebrow color may appear more darker than when it was first done and may look thick, which is normal during this time.

    • Clean: Continue cleaning the treated area twice daily with a damp cotton pad.

    • Apply: Apply a thin layer of aftercare gel in the morning and night.

  • Day 5 - 10: Peeling occurs, and you may experience itching. Dry skin will peel off the scabs later, leaving the scabs looking like transparent dry skin. Oily skin will cause the scabs to fall off faster, possibly revealing colored scabs and a cracked appearance of the eyebrows.

    • Clean: Use a gentle cleanser to clean the treated area. Avoid excessive moisture.

    • Apply: Apply a thin layer of aftercare gel or an ointment like Aquaphor or Vaseline.

    • Peeling: Peeling may begin; avoid picking, pulling, exfoliating, or scrubbing the area.

  • Day 11 - 15: It is normal for the eyebrow color to fade or appear uneven during this period.

  • Day 16 - 30: The eyebrows will be mostly healed, and the color will become more defined. No special care is required.

  • Week 6 - 8: The eyebrows are fully recovered. This is the best time for Touch-Ups to achieve optimal results. Schedule and attend any recommended follow-up appointments with your technician.

  • Avoid:

    • Sleeping position: Avoid sleeping on your face for 10 days.

    • Sweating: Refrain from workouts to prevent irritation and infection.

    • Swimming, Saunas, and Hot Tubs: Avoid these to keep the area clean and free from potential contaminants.

    • Makeup: Do not apply makeup on the treated area until fully healed.

    • Other Treatment: Don't get facials, Botox, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion and avoid products with acids and exfoliants for 4 weeks.

    • Sun Exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight and tanning for 4 weeks, and wear a hat when you're outside. You can also use a total sunblock sunscreen to help prevent fading.

    • Excessive Touching: Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area to reduce the risk of infection.

    • Soaking in Water: Avoid long baths or soaking the treated area in water; gently dab dry.

    • Heavy Skincare Products: Stay away from heavy or oily skincare products near the treated area.

    • Heat Exposure: Minimize exposure to direct heat sources.

    • Smoking: avoid smoking during the healing process, as smoking can affect the pigmentation and slow down the healing.

  • Report Any Unusual Reactions: Contact your physician promptly if you experience unusual redness, swelling, signs of infection, or any allergic reactions.

After you're fully healed, recommend continuing to steer clear of chemical exfoliants or sun exposure in that area—this will help maintain the integrity of the nano brows so they last even longer.
